Programmatically control roku

Is there a revised protocol document for controlling the new roku devices? the document from the SDK is was written in 2007, so I'm guessing this isn't the most current version. I'm looking at writing a 2-way control driver for a remote control company. Roku's tech support was useless.

Does anyone know if such a document exists?
