No More Roku Players?

We sent an email to the Bulk Purchasing Department asking, How to buy in bulk.

We had starting writing software for "channels" and offer we were going to offer these channels to our streaming customers, and we were going to offer the Ruku players to these custmores. This was giong to be a great opportunity for our customers, us and Ruku.

BUT
We received an email back, stating;

"completely allocated through the end of this year and so we have to pass on your proposal"

I guess this means, all the inventory is allocted for and we can't buy any.

Has anyone heard of this?

It is only Feb 1, how can "all be allocated for", already?

    That response doesn't at all sound like a response that would come from us. To what email address did you send your request. Give partners@roku.com a shot.
  • First email went to sales@roku.com

    We received a reply;
    Subject: Roku has updated support CaseID #579108

    Please note that the below has been entered:

    Request passed to bulk order processing

    Then an email from cs*******@roku.com (dont really want to post his full name)
    He is the one that stated "all allocated"

    We will try partners@roku.com

    Thanks
