mpr zero length playlist

While trying to play a live hls stream, I am getting an error which I am having trouble making sense of - here are the details of the error:

ERROR CODE -3 "An unexpected problem (but not server timeout or HTTP error) has been detected"
CATEGORY "mediaplayer"
SOURCE "buffer:search:"
DBG MSG "exception:mpr zero length playlist"

 

Can someone shed some light? I am guessing that the Roku HLS parser could be choking on a tag or an attribute that it doesn't like, but that's only a guess  - not sure how I can progress given the limited information available.

    Hi tifroz,

    Can you provide the code you are using to get the playlist so we can further determine why you may be getting this error?
