Loading .pkg file?

I've sideloaded, tested and now packaged the app which results in having a file with a .pkg suffix.
The package utilities Inspector seems happy with the pkg file.
My question, is there a way to sideload the .pkg file to a roku to make sure it is "ok".  Or any other method to verify that the .pkg is valid?
