Live Streaming channels

Does anyone have experience with or knowledge of live streaming channels that I can check out? I'm producing a project that will use live streaming video and I need some major help with the development of our channel...

    By live streaming do you mean live broadcast or streaming prerecorded material?

    I was wondering that as well. I'm trying to play a live video stream, and nothing in the docs I found says that it is or isn't possible.

    The one I'm looking at is an ASF/WMV file, but there's also a flash version to play. I'm just plugging it into the example program for a video player to see if it can be done. I get as far as 33% loaded before it hangs there.

    The only live streaming technology supported on Roku is HTTP Live Streaming. This is discussed in the Encoding Guide included with the SDK.
