Live stream delay: HLS vs Smooth Streaming
Does anyone have anything to comment on that?
Encoding/packaging aside, which of the two formats will allow for the least amount of delay? I know Smooth Streaming is relatively new on Roku, so there are probably fewer people using it.
Assuming that the segment length for each format is 2 seconds.
I'm going to setup some tests myself, but would like to throw this discussion out there as well.
