Launching YouTube from my app.

I'm building a new Roku tv app and within it I would like to show (and ideally play) YouTube videos.

Is this possible?

 

If not can I have my app simply launch the YouTube app with a video or playlist?

 That sounds like an ok substitute for our needs.

    Unless you have an agreement with YouTube to host your video content as a CDN, this is against their terms of service.  Roku no longer allows launching other Roku channels from a Roku channel.  ECP
