Role and Responsibilities
Responsible for a smooth review process for publishing new channels to the Roku Channel Store. Key relationships are with multiple departments across the organization. Help to evangelize the Roku platform to developers and small/medium sized content publishers. Responsibilities also include collecting and providing feedback on the Roku SDK to engineering.

Detailed tasks include:
- Responsible for a smooth review process for publishing new channels to the Roku Channel Store, interacting with with multiple departments across the organization.
  • Provide first-pass quality checks on new channels

  • Work with QA and developers to effect changes to channels during the approval process

  • Help enforce guidelines for Roku channels and criteria for Roku acceptance

  • Communicate the channel publishing process to developers

  • Manage the approval process within Roku and the feedback process to developers

  • Manage the organization of the channel store

- Help evangelize the Roku platform to developers and small/medium sized content publishers
  • Answer developer/publisher questions, escalating if needed

  • Contribute to the Roku developer blog

  • Monitor and participate on the Roku developer forum

- Collect and provide feedback on the Roku SDK to engineering
  • Coordinate with CS, QA, and developers to diagnose, report and respond to bug reports


Experience/Qualifications
  • A successful history of working with 3rd parties or supporting end users

  • Ideal candidate will have 2-3 years of experience in the video, music or games applications environments

  • Detail oriented

  • Customer Service mentality

  • Strong problem solving skills

  • Technically adept

  • Some programming experience is desired

  • Familiarity with bug database

  • BS Computer Science or a related field
