JavaScript Compatibility

Is there a way to create a custom channel that would allow the channel to call javascript? I have a API for YouVersion bible app to call the Verse of the Day but the samples I have are in html/JS formats and not sure what I should try to do to create custom channel to display the verse of the day.

    Sorry, not possible.  It's pretty much BrightScript or nothing.  You could have a server interpret the JS and just download the text within your Roku channel.
