If your internet goes down, then you can't develop on roku now - if says unable to check for updated firmware on the dev page, the remote control (if it hasn't been linked) can't link to the roku devi...

Ah, I just got this error today, wow that stinks!
There was one period back in 2014 where I did a LOT of offline development - luckily nowadays that's not the case, but what if the need arises again?
