Internet down causes big problems

If your internet goes down, then you can't develop on roku now - if says unable to check for updated firmware on the dev page, the remote control (if it hasn't been linked) can't link to the roku device, telnet doesn't connect to the roku device, you basically can't do anything.  Without an emulator available this basically kills any development.

    That's not cool. I haven't encountered that yet, cross my fingers.

    Ah, I just got this error today, wow that stinks!

    There was one period back in 2014 where I did a LOT of offline development - luckily nowadays that's not the case, but what if the need arises again?
