imagecanvas max resolutions

I'm trying to fill an imagecanvas screen with one large image. The exact resolutions of the images is a bit if a problem as I'm in contact with a designer creating them. Does anyone know what the max size is for Roku in HD and SD? I tried 1280x720 as a test on an HD screen and it appeared to be ok, albeit with minor clipping.

    SD: 720x480

    The clipping you saw is probably the TV's overscan. I've found that some TVs are more aggressive about that than others. Some TVs have a "Just Scan" mode that disables overscan.
