Force Roku2 to SD for Videos
I have a TV and Roku2 that are both set to 720p. Is there a way to force a video (my own channel) to use SD mode 16x9 without having to change the TV and Roku settings (outside of the channel).

- Hmm - well you could use roVideoScreen with an roScreen set to 16:9 dimensions and set the destination rect to the dimensions of the roScreen, I think that would work. Why would you want to do that?
- Joel - I purchased a Roku2 to replace my Roku XD. My videos originally displayed widescreen or fullscreen on the Roku XD, depending on how they were encoded. After setting up the Roku2, the videos are displayed either in fullscreen with thick black bars on the left and right or in widescreen with thick black bars all around the video, making it difficult to see. I really don't want to re-encode my videos. I really just want to have it as it was before to display my videos, but still have HD qualities for Netflix and other movie apps.
