I think the closest one is the signup sample channel - that has keyboard entry for an email address so it's a good start?

At one point I thought there was a downloadable example app that went with each component in the docs, but guess this doesn't qualify as a component.  Looks like whoever made the doc had the example, or are those just photoshopped screens?
I grabbed the zip you linked and will check this out, appreciate the help!

Some of the screens for the link code you'll need to make (labels) for, as well as the server interaction, but I've been having a difficult time going through every page of the wiki to pick out sample zips to look at.  Rather than having the big 'everything in here' sample app, it'd be better to go back to old style where they had a sourceforge repository with each individual zip IMO.
