Direct Publisher for updating an existing channel?

Question

from what i read about the new direct publisher

it will allow automatically the channel and content to be included in roku search

and you can monetize the channel with ads (easily)

is there a way to update an already existing channel
with a new package - produced by direct publisher

i have a channel that is live with about 6k subscribers
if I can update this channel with a new package from direct publisher
then I can easily monetize the channel with ads and also get included in search..

that would be awesome
please let me know if there is a way to do this...

I did notice in the options menu beside the channel in the Manage Channel list that there is a convert to Direct Publisher. I think this is probably what you are looking for.

In the options icon next to you channels, you can convert your channel to a Direct Publisher / Feed based channel.

You'll still need to create a content feed and follow the instructions here: https://developer.roku.com/publish
