Did you ever find an answer because I am having the same problem. I was able to fully test the Roku recommends app through the deeplink tester but it works only with RSS when I have a json file for content. Does anyone know if the deeplink cert only tests for RSS or does it test for both RSS and json.
I'm a little frustrated.. anyone know a way to talk with a Roku developer on the phone or zoom? I'll pay.
