Code examples - beyond "Hello World" (see also: n00b)

Hello All -

I just got my roku and am very excited to jump into developing something neat.

As most programmers, I learn best through example, but right now I'm having trouble finding any. Does anyone have something like this to share or places where I can find some? I found a basic "Hello World" on this forum, but I am looking for something a bit more involved (nothing to advanced).
