Channel Updates Question

I uploaded an update to my channel (msdevtv). However, the updates are not getting to boxes that had previously installed the channel.
Only way to get the update is to enter and exit the channel store.

Whats the process? Did I miss a step?

    Did you increment the revision number in both the manifest and the channel store?

    That's the expected behavior. It can take up to 36 hours to automatically get an update. The only way to force it is to enter/exit the channel store, as you noted. If that works, then you've done everything correctly, and you either need to inform your users, or just wait a day.

    Also, it may sometimes take up to an hour for the change to reach the channel store due to caching. There is also a 1 minute secondary cache that bite you if you run to the channel store and try to update immediately after making a change.
