Channel to display a webpage

Hello, I'm looking for a way to create a channel that links to a website, the guides I found link to hosted video's files and stuff.
I would like a channel for either these website;
http://www.ilive.to/tv-guide or http://www.tvpassport.com/tvgrid.shtml? ... =1&hilite=

I side loaded a zip package for the Onsite web browser (or whatever it's called, can't think of the right name right now) and was told to just change the default website in the source file which I did and works on the roku but when I load the channel it does go to the website I wanted but I canโ€™t scroll down to view the whole page with my remote ๐Ÿ˜ž

Also, I'm confused on why you have to ftp into the roku when I just side-loaded the zip package with the install button ?? Please clarify.
Please help. Thx

  • The Oversite web browser is a private sideloaded channel developed for the NowTV box. It's not approved or supported by Roku.
  • Oh, ok, so what should I do then to get these Websites as a Channel on my Roku3?

    Thanks

    Roku is not a web browser. You would need to find an API that can deliver the necessary data as XML or JSON, then develop the BrightScript to present that data to the user.
  • I was trying to create a channel guide like the way USTVNOW does but I guess that is more difficult than I though. Oh, well ๐Ÿ˜ž
