Are app IDs constant?

On all of my Rokus, Netflix (via ECP) is app ID 12, Amazon is 13, Hulu Plus is 2285 and so on, this seems to be consistent. Are these type numbers IDs in a roku database that will never change, or are they box based and I just happen to be seeing consistency on some core and preinstalled apps?

    They are constant. It's the same ID that appears in the URL on the developer portal when updating a channel. It's also the same ID that appears in the URL when browsing the web channel store.

    The Channel Store used to be "11".
