Any takers?

Well, I was researching how to do the channel myself, but soon realized I am just not up to par with the process.

I was wondering how easy it would be for someone to create a channel for Q Ideas. It's like TED talks, but focuses on the church in the modern era. http://www.qideas.org/video/

Any thoughts?

Thanks!

  • Unfortunately from a quick look. Their rss feed doesn't point to any video or audio directly, and the website is playing the videos in flv.
  • so just to get an idea, what type of live streams from websites can be added into a channel? or is it with RSS feeds only?
  • If there is a mrss or xml file that points to files already then it is easy to setup a channel that automatically updates the files for you. If they don't have such a thing then the channel developer has to manually update what files they are pointing to.

But the most important part of all of it is video or audio files in formats that the Roku box can play.
