5.1?

All the supported video formats indicate that they only support stereo audio, but Amazon VOD does 5.1. Is this an oversight in the documentation, or is VOD using something that falls under "supported, but should be evaluated on a case by case basis"?

    Could it be something Amazon has exclusively for a time or something?

    5.1 audio support falls into the category of "not fully supported yet". It does work in most cases.

    For a list of the supported media types, please see the Supported Video Formats table in Section 4.5 of the Component Reference.

    Ok, that's good enough. I'll play around and see what works and what doesn't. Thanks for the info!

    Also, the chart in 4.5 of the Component Reference seems to be exactly the same as the chart in section 3.1 of the Developer Guide. The dev guide is a bit more approachable, since it's only 18 pages 🙂
