tv audio and wireless roku speakers both working at same time

We installed our wireless roku speakers to go on either side of our bed about a month ago. No isses until last night, when all of a sudden the tv audio was playing as well as the wireless speakers, This shouldnt happen. The tv audio is extremely loud and can not be controlled. The remote works the speakers, so even when the volume appears as "0" it only applies to the wireless speakers. I have factory reset both the speakers and the tv, unplugged the speakers, tried every setting, nothing works. To make it worse, the tv audio is ahead, so you hear that, then  the speakers which align with what you are seeing on the TV itself (actors etc). How do i fix this??
