Streambar speaker crackling

Hi I have the same issue with streambar cracking on right side, done all the usual things to correct the fault but no joy, it seems this is a major problem judging by all the people on here with same problem.

    Thanks for your post.

    Can you specify the steps you have taken so far? Did you restart your Roku Streambar from the Settings menu? Have you tried the steps recommended on this link: How do you adjust the sound settings on your Roku audio device? Besides the model and serial number, may we know this device's other information by going to Settings > System > About?

    We'll appreciate your response regarding this matter.

      Unfortunately, I am having the same issue, even after Roku replaced my streambar for the same issue last year.

        I have the exact same issue, I have done everything to try and resolve this. A lot of people seem to think turning off the leveling feature is the fix, but for me this did not work. I even went as far as to buy a second sound bar last week. It has the same issue with all new cables. Same issue persist, I'm assuming it's a software issue with ARC. So at this point I give up with these and am returning everything. There are thousands of post online with people having the same problem and Roku replying with a canned response but no resolution.

      I have two full surround sounds and they both do it. I have noticed that it does it on Bluetooth and watching TV on my Chromecast with Google TV but not when you cast to YouTube or I heart radio. It seems like one of the recent updates caused it.

        Oh, interesting. This has been happening to me for years and I have been through three different streambars, most recently with a replacement I installed in the last two weeks.

        The issue occurs on the homescreen and continues regardless of which Roku app I go to (Sling, Netflix, Prime Video, etc.).

        It resolves momentarily if I reset the device via the Roku System menu but occurs immediately the next time I relaunch the device.

    I have owned my Roku Streambar for several years and have loved it.  But recently the volume has been going up and down and there is static in the speaker that appeared out of no where.  I watch a lot of YouTube on it and the sound is getting unbearable.   I just ordered another one for my second TV and I'm afraid it may have been a mistake.   Has anyone found a fix for this issue yet?

      In this instance, we will request further reinforcement from the appropriate Roku team for further assistance. With this being said, could you please provide us with the information below so we can forward this to the team to investigate your Roku Streambar?

      • Roku device model, serial number, device ID, and OS version. (this can all be found in Settings > System > About)
      • Tracker ID (when you see this issue occur, press the Home button 5 times, followed by the Back button 5 times, and provide us with this ID) 
      • What troubleshooting steps have you taken to try and resolve this?

      We'll be waiting for your response as we are more than eager to fix this for you.
