Streambar Pro not connecting to speakers/subwoofer

Hello,

I recently purchased a Roku Streambar Pro on Amazon to upgrade from our previous Roku Streambar.

We already had the Roku external speakeres (2 speakers-rear) and the Roku subwoofer.

We installed the Streambar Pro, and had to use the optic cord as we have an older Vizio tv without the ARC port.

We have pushed the RESET button for 10 seconds, and the status light is flashing.

When we try to pair the speakers/subwoofer - it says "searching" and then quickly moves on the "updating speakers" - this goes on for a few minutes, and then it says "Unable to Pair".

We have unplugged the speakers as well.  It has no affect.  We have turned on and off the soundbar.  No affect.

What else could it be?

    Welcome alejosfamily

It seems like you have an issue with the Streambar Pro not connecting or pairing to the subwoofer. And thanks for your effort in trying to pair it.

If the Roku host device does not enter pairing mode, here's what I  can suggest:

    • Use the existing remote
    • Install fresh batteries
    • Check software version ( Settings > System > Software update > Check Now)
    • Manually enter pairing menu ( If the instructions recited by your speakers are not working, try putting your Roku host device in pairing mode from the settings menu. Go to Settings > Remotes & devices > Set up a new device > Wireless speakers.)

Hope this helps! Let us know if you need more info.

      Hello Roku Support,

Thank you for your reply. I appreciate the suggestions, but unfortunately, I’ve already tried all of the listed troubleshooting steps without success.

Here’s what I’ve done so far:

      1. Confirmed the Streambar Pro is updated. When first installed, it automatically checked for and installed the latest software. I’ve since run additional update checks to be certain.
      2. Replaced the batteries in the remote (they are fresh and working correctly).
      3. Manually entered pairing mode through Settings > Remotes & devices > Set up a new device > Wireless speakers.
      4. Attempted to pair the subwoofer alone, the speakers alone, and both together. None will connect.
      5. Verified that CEC is enabled on our TV.
      6. Pressed and held the reset button for 10+ seconds (status light flashes).
      7. Unplugged and restarted all devices multiple times.

The Streambar Pro continually cycles through “searching” and “updating speakers” before ending with “Unable to Pair.” This happens no matter what combination of devices I try.

Since the Streambar Pro is brand new and all updates have been installed, I’m concerned there may be a deeper compatibility or hardware issue. Could you advise on next steps — whether there’s an advanced troubleshooting method I’ve missed, or if this may require a warranty replacement?

Thank you for your time and support.

        Thanks for the update, alejosfamily!

We understand the issue still occurs after doing the steps provided. We’d like your help in taking a closer look. Could you please provide the following details?

        • Roku device model, Serial number, Device ID, and Software version. (This information is located in Settings, then System, then About.)
        • Tracker ID (press the Home button 5 times, followed by the Back button 5 times, when the issue occurs)

We hope to hear from you soon.
