Stream music to the sound bar without the TV turned on
I just set up a new Roku Streambar. It is connected to my Samsung Smart TV with the hdmi arc cable port.
Everything works as expected.
I am streaming music from my ipad itunes library. I would like to be able to play/stream the music without having the TV turned on but cannot seem to find how to do that.
I read the info about using Fast Start but that option is not available in the Roku settings menu.
Is it possible for me to stream music from my ipad without having the TV turned on?

You mentioned that the Fast Start feature could be used, and that is correct; you can enable this feature to use your TV when off and stream music. If you're having a hard time, you can follow the steps below to enable it.
- Press Home on your TV remote
- Scroll and select Settings
- Select System
- Select Power
- Select Fast TV Start
- Highlight Enable 'Fast TV Start' and check the box to enable it
