    Hello! Whyamihere,

Thank you for your post in the Roku Community!

We appreciate you for getting in touch about your Roku Streambar SE. We're happy to help out.

Two things need to be checked for your Roku Streambar to stay awake or connected to your TV: the "Fast Start" feature and "Bandwidth Saver."

To maintain the network connection, use the steps below to turn on a feature called "Fast TV start" (on your TV) or "Fast start" (on your Streambar).

    1. Press Home on your Roku remote
    2. Scroll and select Settings
    3. Select System
    4. Select Power
    5. Select Fast TV start or Fast start
    6. Highlight Enable 'Fast TV Start' or Turn on 'Fast Start' and check the box
    • Note:
      • Fast TV start and Fast start use significantly more power than regular standby and override default power settings.

    To disable Bandwidth Saver

    1. Press Home on your Roku remote
    2. Scroll and select Settings
    3. Select Network
    4. Select Bandwidth saver
    5. Choose Off
    • Note: Some streaming channels employ a mechanism to cease data usage after a specific period of inactivity. Disabling Bandwidth Saver will not affect these features.
