Two things need to be checked for your Roku Streambar to stay awake or connected to your TV: the "Fast Start" feature and "Bandwidth Saver."
To maintain the network connection, use the steps below to turn on a feature called "Fast TV start" (on your TV) or "Fast start" (on your Streambar).
- Press Home on your Roku remote
- Scroll and select Settings
- Select System
- Select Power
- Select Fast TV start or Fast start
- Highlight Enable 'Fast TV Start' or Turn on 'Fast Start' and check the box
- Note:
- Fast TV start and Fast start use significantly more power than regular standby and override default power settings.
To disable Bandwidth Saver
- Press Home on your Roku remote
- Scroll and select Settings
- Select Network
- Select Bandwidth saver
- Choose Off
- Note: Some streaming channels employ a mechanism to cease data usage after a specific period of inactivity. Disabling Bandwidth Saver will not affect these features.
