Roku Streambar SE keeps renaming itself.

Hello. I have the Roku stream bar SE connected to a 55-inch Vizio television. About every minute to 5 minutes, the stream bar renames itself, changing only one letter in the process. This brings up a message across the top of the television, which I have to delete with the television remote. It's happened on more than one television, so I know the problem is an issue with the stream bar. For some reason, it seems to happen on Apple TV more than my other streaming platforms, but it has happened across all the platforms at one time or another. It's driving me batty. Thanks in advance for your help.

    Thanks for keeping us posted!

It seems that the error displayed on your TV is likely due to an issue with the TV itself. I suggest reaching out to your TV manufacturer for assistance. Here is their support website for your reference.

Thank you for your understanding and cooperation!

    Hey JMason1121

Thanks for reaching out. I understand that you are reporting that your Roku Streambar SE is randomly renaming itself.

Let’s sort this out together! To help us dive in, could you share a few quick details?

    • When did this issue first pop up?
    • What software version do you have on your Streambar SE?
    • Could you snap a pic of the prompt for us?

While you’re at it, try unplugging your Streambar SE from both the TV and the outlet for a few minutes. Give it a fresh start!

    Cheers,
