I don’t have it hooked up with any wires at the moment but I’ve used hdmi, and the eyelet but no sound , it should be able to connect wireless yes?

To clarify your question, you will still have to connect your Roku Streambar Pro to your Roku TV via HDMI cable, as it is not designed to work wirelessly.
However, since you're having problems with the audio, we'd like to know more about it.
- Is this happening on all channels or only on a specific channel?
- Is the audio issue intermittent or you don't hear any audio at all?

Yes first time have never had soundbar working
