Roku Streambar crackling audio

Model: 9102X

Serial No. 2A10CG938538

Crackling in audio out of Roku for all input devices. Have check HDMI connection, reset, updated software. Started about a month ago. 

Help please.

    • Are you experiencing this issue with a specific app or all apps?
    • Have you tried using a different HDMI cable and plugging it into the other HDMI port?
    • Did this issue occur after the update?
    • Finally, can you tell us your current software version? (You can find it under Settings > System > About.)

      Hi,

      • Are you experiencing this issue with a specific app or all apps? - ALL APS.
      • Have you tried using a different HDMI cable and plugging it into the other HDMI port? YES
      • Did this issue occur after the update? I DON'T KNOW.
      • Finally, can you tell us your current software version? (You can find it under Settings > System > About.) Current software version 14.5

      additional info: I performed a system reset and it did not fix the buzzing problem.

    When I do this, I get the attached screen.

    I am curious as to the outcome. I am on my 3rd Roku soundbar due to it always ending up with this same issue. I have been able to get the first 2 returned/swapped for a new one but the 3rd one I’m on is outside the warranty now.

      • Did you experience this on just one app or on all of them?
      • Have you tried a different HDMI cable or port?
      • Can you provide us with a video recording of the issue?
      • Could you please provide your current software version? (You can locate it under Settings > System > About.)

      A video would also help us understand the problem better.

        I appreciate your attention to my comment, however- and this is no fault of your own- I have done all of the troubleshooting, bought all new cables, factory reset (several times on all 3 units). I am convinced at this point, and because I have NEVER been contacted directly outside of this forum, that there is no resolution and that these devices are faulty.
