Is it better to have the ear buds or do people do better with the Roku app using a wireless headphone? When using either of these options, are other people able to hear the tv or does it negate the volume for them?

If you're using a private listening feature on your Roku device, automatically, the audio on your TV or device will be transmitted directly to your headphones, and the sound on your television will be muted.
