Onn 36" 5.1 home theater system sound bar went out.

Bought a 36" 5.1 surround sound a few years ago and the optical port broke. Is there a specific sound bar that I need to be able to sync my subwoofer and satellite speakers from the old setup or will any onn sound bar work with the sub and speakers?
