No Sound On My Soundbar Via Optical Connection

I am trying to get sound on my soundbar. It an Insignia NS-SB216 soundbar that I've had for years. It is linked through an optical cable. I have checked the settings on my TV and set it to optical. It worked up until a few minutes ago. I have also checked the settings on my soundbar. I am not sure why else it would not be working.

    The optical cable might have broken, it is glass. Or it's not seated right on either end.

      I just replaced the optical cable with a new one and no sound is coming out. It's probably not an issue on Rokus end because I don't get sound from the apps on my smart TV either.
