No Audio on Multiple Channels

I have a weird problem. I have a Hisense Roku TV and a VizioV21d soundbar. Both have been working fine for the past several months. Then today I have no audio on the live channels and no audio when I try to stream something through an app. What's weird is that if I open one of the apps that shows short previews of shows on its homepage (like Netflix or Peacock), the sound of the previews is fine, coming through the soundbar with no problem.  If I hit play to start an episode of the show, suddenly no sound.

I tried doing an update. That didn't help.

What is up with this?SS

    Hey Enderw13,

We're currently investigating an issue where some users are experiencing no audio on multiple apps.

    Please try restarting your device:

    1. Press Home on your Roku remote
    2. Go to Settings > System > Power (skip if not shown)
    3. Select System restart

If the issue continues, help us look into it by sharing:

    • Roku model, software version, serial number, and device ID
(Find this under: Settings > System > About)
    • Tracker ID (Home 5x > Back 5x)
    • A short video showing the issue, if possible

For updates or to report the issue, post here: Audio Issue – Under Investigation

If it’s only happening with Peacock TV or started after streaming it, that issue has been resolved. More details here: Peacock TV – Audio Issue Resolved

    Thank you,
    Roku Community Team

This happens on all apps for me.  We watch Disney Plus most of the day but if the children are napping, I will switch to another app (Netflix, Peacock, Paramount Plus, Hulu) and the sound will stop working.

That's when I have to reset everything.

Well, I tried to report the audio problem as per the instructions, but when I clicked on the link I was denied access even though I have a ROKU account and was signed in.  That sucks!
