Can't connect 5th generation Echo Dot to Roku wireless soundbar

I have just set up the Roku wireless soundbar to my 55" TCL, Roku TV and it works great! I was hoping to also have my Amazon Echo Dot play through the Roku soundbar as well. I have searched and tried...

Although the Roku TV Wireless Soundbar can't connect directly to the Amazon Echo Dot, you can connect it to your Roku TV instead. For more details about it, refer to this link.
