YoutubeTV disappeared, now can’t download

YoutubeTV disappeared from my home screen on my Roku. When I go to redownload it, it says “couldn’t install app”. It will let me download other apps though. I updated my Roku and then restarted it and it’s still not working.

    Status update (4/10): We believe it’s been resolved.

    If YouTube TV is still missing from your home screen, try updating the Roku device by following these steps:

    Steps to Manually Update:

    1. Press Home on the remote and select Settings.
    2. Select System.
    3. Select Software Update.
    4. Choose Check Now to manually check for updates.

    If the issue persists after updating, let us know and we’ll look into it further.

    Same here in South Carolina. If you want to watch the college basketball championship, go to or subscribe to Paramount +.

    I wanted to watch YouTube tv on our Roku tv, but when I looked for it, it had suddenly disappeared. When I searched for it through the app search function, it was still there but I could not open it. When I restarted it came back for a second but then disappeared again. Does anyone know why this is? This is our most used streaming platform so we really need to know.

      Same in my house. Went out last night. I have  done all the suggestions about updates, deletes and reloads and still cannot get out of the welcome screen. 

      All other none Roku devices work (cell phone and smart tv) but no Ruko tvs work.
