My YouTube tv app version is 2.22. My Roku ultra version is current. YouTube tv freezes & buffers. I have checked both for updates.
YouTube tech says Roku doesn’t support a newer version. That doesn’t sound correct?
It is YouTube's app. They wrote and maintain versions adapted to each platform they wish to support, like Roku. Whatever the app does or doesn't do is programmed in by YouTube.
Your Roku will install whatever is the current version YouTube has provided that is compatible with your Roku model.
Thanks for clarifying. YTTV has already said it’s Roku and or ATT. I’ll keep pressing them to fix it.
