The game of hot potato is simply unacceptable to all of us reporting the same issue for so long. “Not my problem” is unacceptable as a response. I guarantee you someone at Roku is a financial beneficiary of overseeing the Google /Youtube account, and has a responsibility for working together with their counterpart to communicate this known issue, devise a strategy to resolve, execute the fix, and communicate out to affected parties just what the heck is being done and a timeline for completion. So please just stop reposting over and over it’s not ROKU’s problem! It IS their problem as long as it’s the problem of the many people reporting this technical issue without a fix for months!

Guarantee all you want, I don't believe that's the case. Roku has no control over how an app provider services their app, other than ensuring it meets the terms of service requirements. That is done before an app is approved for release, so after that it's all up to the app provider. Another reason this isn't a Roku issue is because it doesn't happen with any other app. If there was a problem with the Roku OS causing playback issues, even if it's only on a single specific model, it would be affecting other apps, which isn't the case. It's something specific within the YouTube app, and beyond forwarding any reports on to Google there's nothing Roku can do to resolve the problem.

Are you the official voice of Roku? I don’t think so, so your flippant responses disregarding everyone’s issues mean as little to us as ours mean to you.
