YouTube shorts play at double speed after initial playing

Ever since the latest system update, all of the Shorts play normally 1 time and then when they repeat the 2nd and any other playbacks are played at double speed, with garbled sound. Moving to another...

It's not up to Roku to advise them, although it's possible they have done so from the messages in this thread. But to be honest, Roku has little "pull" to get Google to do anything. The end users (that's you all) have far more pull than a company that only provides the platform their app is used on.
