YouTube shorts play at double speed after initial playing

Ever since the latest system update, all of the Shorts play normally 1 time and then when they repeat the 2nd and any other playbacks are played at double speed, with garbled sound. Moving to another...

I too have a Roku Ultra with the same issue. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the YouTube app which did not solve the issue. It is making it easier to try a different equipment provider if a solution cannot be found. Not only is this an issue but also after ten minutes or so on pause it kicks me out to the select user screen. Very annoying.
