Oh great, I came with the exact problem and see that you guys are looking into it as of two months ago. Our Roku TV was only bought a couple of months ago! Problem: opened YouTube. Played for a minute, went back with audio. Then nothing. PLEASE NOTE- we already did ALL your suggestions. Now what?

Well, my solution was to buy a new TV, since it was pretty clear that the back light (or whatever it's called) was shot and the TV was therefore a brick. Not sure about your case, though.
