Yellowstone on Paramount+

The New Yellowstone season is about to start this weekend. Is there anyway I can watch Yellowstone on Paramount+. I signed up on Paramount+ just to watch Yellowstone.

  • mjzertuche-

When Paramount first started Yellowstone, Paramount+ did not exist.  Yellowstone went to their Paramount cable/satellite channel and they contracted with Peacock for streaming.

You can now watch the first 4 seasons on Paramount+ but Peacock will be the first to get streaming rights to season 5 episodes, likely several months after Paramount's cable channel has run and rerun them.  Paramount+ will get them eventually but only after the contract with Peacock has been fulfilled.

If you don't want to wait that long you'll need a subscription to a service that carries the Paramount (not Paramount+) channel, preferably one that includes DVR provisions.

You would have to purchase Philo at an outrageous price in order to watch it on Sundays at 8 pm.

It will air on Peacock six months after the final episode. What a disappointment.

It is advertised as be on paramount  plus. That's fraudulent.

It's **bleep** we can't watch it on paramount plus!! So, now you want us to buy the **bleep** small networks to watch it. Nope!! Nor will I watch ANY TAYLOR SHERIDAN SHOWS that requires it.You wait until Sunday to tell us it's not on paramount?! I am ready to dump ROKU because these are horrible business practices!

Yellowstone predates Paramount+.  Prior streaming contracts are in place.  ALL other Taylor Sheridan shows are tied to Paramount+.

Sorry that we can't understand it for you.

Couldnt stream Yellowstone on Paramount Plus. Had to add it to my service with Xfinity. So why pay to stream Paramount Plus? Someone explain it to me, please.

See other threads. It is on Paramount Network, a cable channel. The original production companies made a streaming deal with Peacock on a 6 month delay. Paramount only has broadcast rights.

Paramount Plus cable channel. I had to add it to my Xfinity subscription...and it's not cheap.

  • I watched Yellowstone on Peacock for 5 seasons. Roku now says that it's showing on Paramount+. Season 6 began 11/10 and I can't find it on Paramount+,  Peacock or anywhere,!!

What now is being released is not season 6.   It is a continuation of season 5, whose production was interrupted two years ago by Covid 19.

When Yellowstone first began a few years ago it went to Paramount Network, Paramount's cable/satellite service.  The Paramount Plus streaming service did not yet exist and streaming rights were assigned to NBC's Peacock.

Peacock, not Paramount Plus, still gets Yellowstone for streaming, several months after being released on Paramount Network.  Peacock still has everything through season 5 episode 8, i.e. everything released before the Covid shutdown.  It will receive the remaining new episodes in several months.

There no longer is a separate streaming app for viewing Paramount Network cable/satellite service on streaming platforms like Roku.  You can still view Paramount Network via several paid streaming services which carry cable-type channels, such as YouTube TV, Hulu with Live TV, etc.

CBS/Universal did release the first post-Covid episode on CBS broadcast.stations two hours after it appeared on Paramount Network, but that was reportedly just a single episode promotion for the ensuing Paramount Network  cable release of the remaining episodes

No..Paramount+ is not showing this. Maybe in 6 months.

Yellowstone is only on LIVE TV. I have xfinity cable and waych it on Paramount NETWORK....

Two different viewing platforms. Yellowstone isn't streaming. You only watch it Sunday nights on TV CHANNEL Paramount Network.

Spike TV may offer on their Live platform.

There is no season 6, at least so far.  The new episodes are considered part 2 of season 5. Officially, S5 is the last, but there are rumors, especially how successful the show is. It may depend on contracts with actors and others.

Peacock will have them, but supposedly after about 6 months. This is the streaming deal the original production company made before Paramount had a financial involvement.
