Wrong movie plays The Suspect

I went to play a movie on the roku channel called the suspect from 2103 with sterling k brown. The description for it actor info and picture all display for this movie but when I played the movie it wasn’t this movie. It opened up a movie from Showbox and the movie also called the suspect played which was a korean film from 2014 and not the one I was trying to watch or described.

I got the same problem actually I ran into this several times with wrong listings.  I searched for a 1991 move Shattered with Tom Berenger.  when I click on the movie to play it, the pic of the movie is correct but it plays a 2017 movie with the same name what's up with this?  will someone fix this?

        Thanks for the note.

How are you searching for the movie Shattered?

What channel are you trying to the movie through? Can you provide us with screenshots to show what behavior you are seeing?

Please keep us posted so we can take a look further into this issue.

        Thanks,
        Danny

I used the search feature to find the movie “what if” with Daniel Radcliffe and Zoe Kazan.  It brings up the movie and shows a picture of Dan and Zoe but when I click on the available two free options film rabbits and tubi a different movie called “what if” starts playing

Attn: @RokuDanny-R , The issue seems to be between ROKU on the HOME screen. Where "My Feed" is all of my /our followed movies are here, and multiple times a movie I /we are following pop's up as available with the correct movie picture and cast date etc. but when you follow the Roku path to get to this movie from my feed it takes to to a different app with a movie with the same or similar name but NOT the movie you were following date, cast, movie is wrong.  The response from ROKU of the customer needs to contact the channel provider themselves is unacceptable as the apps are on their platform. It's a disconnect between ROKU and the other apps, which should in my opinion be working together????   KatGV

  • This also happened to me. I wanted to watch an old Charles Bronson and Lee Marvin movie called "Death Hunt" from the 1970's. Even showed movie poster. However, a much newer movie with some younger people on a different subject came on. Has someone screwed around with uour service? Someone I know tried it in their Roku also. Same thing.

  • Me too! I wanted to watch Sublet, nope wrong movie. I wanted to watch Paint, nope!, wrong movie. Roku doesn't play what is chosen to watch, it's just weird. So, myself and friends are about to give up on Roku.
