I was watching tv and all of a sudden the screen went black . I unpluged the tv and it still comes on with a black screen
This is a Roku tv and I tried using the reset button but the tv still displays the black screen . The tv is not under warranty because I have had it for three years now . Everything I tried did not work
Is it a Roku TV? Is it still under warranty? Have you seen all the people with the same problem in the TV section most of whom have not found a solution?

One strong possibility is that the screen's backlight has failed. Look closely to see if there is an unlit image there -- using a flashlight might help.
If the set is out of warranty, it might be possible that it can be repaired. Whether that would cost more than just replacing the set is another question.
