Whats goin on with my Peacock subscription

Subscribed to Peacock but the channel says I need to pick a subscription when trying to view.  Then get a message to say I'm already subscribed if I pick a subscription amount, then a message which asks me to reload the app as there is a problem with my subscription.  Any idea what's going on?

    Hi Khayker

    Welcome to the Roku Community!

Does the issue only occur on Peacock or across other channels installed on your Roku device?

Have you tried removing the affected channel Peacock and then re-install again? If not,we suggest starting there. In some cases, removing the affected channel and then re-installing it may help. Restart your device before re-adding the channel back in to ensure the process is successful. We recommend doing this through the Settings menu by navigating to Settings > System > Power (If there is no Power submenu, proceed to the next step.) > System restart.

For detailed instructions, refer to this Support link for more information: How to resolve a channel playback issue | Official Roku Support.

Let us know if there's any difference after.

    Warm Regards,

Thanks for the information.  I can't remove Peacock as there isn't an option to do that when I press the * key on the remote.  Have tried rebooting the system but still can't get it to work, same problem occurs.  Yes, it's only on Peacock.  Any suggestions?

        Hi Khayker

Thank you for keeping in touch!

Please try the following troubleshooting below and see if it helps you resolve the issue:

        • Check your internet connection: Ensure that your internet connection is stable and functioning properly. Try accessing other streaming services or websites to verify if the issue is specific to Peacock or if it's a more general problem with your internet connection.
        • Clear cache and data: If you're using a streaming device or smart TV, go to the settings and find the Peacock app. Look for options to clear cache and data associated with the app. This can sometimes resolve issues related to app performance.
        • Update the app: Make sure that you have the latest version of the Peacock app installed on your device. Outdated versions may have bugs or compatibility issues that can cause problems.
        • Reset your device: If the issue persists, try performing a factory reset on your streaming device or smart TV. Keep in mind that this will delete all personal settings and data, so it's advisable to backup any important information beforehand.

        We hope it helps!

        Regards,
        Lianna
