What the heck did you do to my home screen? I want my screen back.

What the Heck did you do to my home screen? I have used Roku for years to watch movies off my private movie server and use a few apps. That's all I use it for.


I log in tonight and I suddenly have Live TV and some F1 channel that wasn't there yesterday (yes I deleted them).


I scroll down the home screen and I now see "helpful" categories (Movies, TV Shows, Now and Popular) No I really don’t want them.


Below those I see All things Food (No I really don't care, nor would I ever watch a food show) All things home, Nope, don't want it. Sports, OMG I absolutely do not want anything about sports on my screen.


You might get the gist here. I don't want it. I want it gone. I want my home screen back. I don't care about these things, not even one teensy little bit. Please tell me there is a way to make them go away.

    Adding on. I see in another post I might be able to remove All Things Food. Hopefully so. But really, I should not have to go looking for how to remove it. Please don't just willy nilly add crud to my screen. If I want it I will seek it out and add it. I don't need you adding junk to my screen.

      You can Show/Hide these new Home Screen features by going to Settings/Home Screen on your Roku device/RokuTV.

      As you also discovered, some you can Remove (Live TV Guide icon) using the asterick (*) button on your Roku remote.
