What happened to my saved list

My "Saved List" is gone from the left hand column when I opened the app this morning.  What happened?

  • Jimmie1 Welcome to the Roku Community!

Thank you for sharing this savelist issue on your Roku device. I'm here to assist you.

Try removing and adding the Save List on your Roku device. This may help resolve the issue.

    1. From the Roku Home navigate to the "What to Watch" tab.
    2. Select Save List
    3. Highlight the content you want to remove.
    4. Press the Star (*) button on your Roku remote and choose Remove from the Save List.

Once you have completed that step, try adding the content to your save list again and see if the issue still persists.

Let us know how it goes.

    Best,
    The Roku Community Team

  • I had the What To Watch hidden from my Home  Screen.  I didn't know that's what they were referring to.  I kept going to the Home tab on the Roku Channel itself.  I unhid the what to watch tab from settings an my saved list is there now.

Thank you. Unfortunately, I don’t see where in my settings I could make this visible. I wonder why they make these changes in the first place…

To enable "What to Watch" on your Home Screen Menu, go to Settings/Home Screen/What to Watch [Show]

Same here. Why did it disappear? Are there any plans to bring it back (and no, there is no “what to watch” option on the left hand side. The list used to be the first thing you saw so why even remove it?)

  • Go to your Roku Home Screen.  Go into settings and to Home Screen and see if What To Watch has been hidden.  If so, change it back to Show.

Thanks but that was not the solution.  The What To Watch was not hidden in my home settings.

My Saved List is still missing from the left handed column.

Some of us never had the Save List on the left side menu on the Home Screen. (it was under the Roku Channel and/or under the Watch to Watch section accessible from the left side menu.

Some of the issue is that Roku is increasingly testing new/different features on different user devices so hard to say whether the menu Save List was just another test feature and now has been removed. (may reappear later, or in a future update).

Unfortunately, Roku is always hesitant to acknowledge if/when this is the case.

Opened the Roku channel today for the first time in a couple weeks and the "continue watching" list is gone.  Does that mean the 3 programs I had been watching are gone too?  I searched for one of them and the title came up but when I selected resume it said no longer available.  I pulled up several titles from the home page and most had the same message. Weird.

Edit: an hour after this post I opened the Roku Channel again and my continue watching list was there.  I think maybe I didn't scroll down far enough before but I thought I had scrolled through all the home page rows.  Chalk this up to a "senior moment."
