Weather Channel App - commercials repeating and interupting WC programming

For the past week, the amount of commercials have increased such that they interrupt normal weather channel programming.  Normally the normal programming begins at 6:01 am.  Every morning, the programming begins at 6:03 or 6:04.  Commercials are repeated 3 and 4 times in a row.  This morning, there was 8 minutes of commercials.  Yesterday there was 10 minutes of commercials, then 2 minutes of programming.  Is this an issue with Roku or the Weather Channel app?  I am about to cancel the app because I don't want to pay to watch commercials.

    We understand that you're having a problem with the ads or commercials on your Weather channel. We're happy to help. Please be advised that Roku only transmits the channel and is not responsible for the ads and contents within an app. The respective channel is solely responsible for choosing the content and ads, and we have no control over the programming or operation of the channel. We recommend contacting the affected channel's support team to report the issue and for further help.
