Volume jumps to maximum while streaming video over Airplay from iOS 17 beta

Scenario: While steaming a full screen video from an iPhone running the latest iOS 17 beta from mobile Safari over Airplay to a Highsense Roku TV, if you use the volume DOWN button on the phone, the volume of the TV jumps UP to 100, the maximum value. The volume UP button on the phone works as expected.

Roku software version: 12.0.0, build 4182-AF

Roku model: C218GB - Roku TV

The iPhone is a mini 12 running iOS 17.0 (21A5277j)

    We understand you are having problems with your audio volume during airplay. We're happy to help. Please try these steps:

    1. Press Home on your Roku remote.
    2. Scroll and select Settings.
    3. Select System.
    4. Select Power. If you do not see a Power submenu, skip to the next step.
    5. Select System Restart.

    If the issue persists, please restart your phone and try to set up Airplay and Roku again by following the steps on this link here.
