It would be really, really nice if the ads volume was the same as the show being watched. It kind of pisses me off when an ad comes on and jump out of my **bleep** skin because it's so **bleep** loud. ðŸ˜

Depending on your Roku device/Roku TV model, while the content in playing, press the asterick (*) button on your Roku remote and look under Volume Mode or Sound Mode for a Leveling or Night Mode that should normalize the volume changes.
I tried both of these, and honestly it makes no difference. I've got back and forth, regardless of setting, these ads are obnoxiously allowed. I've been combing through the posts here and others with PTSD like myself have brought this to light and it appears that nothing has changed in years.
My Roku TV doesn’t even have these options. And it’s only 4 years old. And I so loved Roku! Much better than firestick, but I really can’t hang with these freaking ads being so loud. It’s obnoxious!
YESSSS. So sick of this. This is actually illegal in cable and enforced by the FCC. Wish this was the case for stream services.
